The Role:
bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking a Psychologist with full AHPRA registration who carries a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated Children’s Therapy team.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Children’s Therapy Services, you will provide early intervention supports and services to young children and families, and more broadly to the Allied Health team to provide high quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children in order to increase children’s meaningful participation in daily life.
As an active and key member of the Children’s Therapy Services program, this role will focus on delivering evidence-based care through a transdisciplinary model and contribute to the elevation of staff culture yielding positive client outcomes.
This is an on-going role, working from our new, state of the art Glen Waverley head office. With flexibility around time-fraction, we are seeking a commitment of at least three full days per week up to full-time hours.
All bestchance Children's Therapy Services staff are required to hold a WWCC and be able to provide a satisfactory National/International Criminal History Check and NDIS Screening Clearance prior to employment.
About you:
To be successful you will be registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA, and have demonstrated ability and knowledge supporting children (and their families) with developmental delays and disabilities aged 0-10 years. You will need to be able to lead and engage in family-centred goal setting and review processes.
Crucial to your success will be your ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.

We service families through the NDIS, Department of Education’s Continuity of Support program and also provide capacity building supports to educators through the School Readiness Funding (SRF) program.
