The Role:
bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated Children’s Therapy team as a Team Manager on a Fixed-Term contract until January 2026.
Reporting to the Program Manager - Children’s Therapy Services, you will provide clinical leadership to our team of therapists and more broadly to the whole Allied Health team to provide high quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children in order to increase children’s meaningful participation in daily life.
As an active and key member of the Children’s Therapy leadership team, this role will focus on advancing evidence based care through a transdisciplinary model, elevate staff culture to yield positive client outcomes and high performing teams.
About you:
- a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children as a Speech Pathologist, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist
- experience as a Key Worker within Early Childhood Intervention also highly advantageous but not mandatory
- have demonstrated highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation
- have experience in the supervision and mentorship of Allied Health professionals
- have a proven track record in being a team player, with an ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships
- have an ability to organise, analyse and utilise service provision, performance and evaluation data
- ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds.
- Experience in managing and taking accountability for a team budget including revenue and expenses (or a willingness to learn how)
